S.A.F.A.R.  Type  850/A   SHORT WAVE RECEIVER

Short Wave radio receiver made from S.A.F.A.R. in Rome and Milan in the 1937. Used in Italian Aircraf  "Regia Aeronautica", or  in Italian Army "Regio Esercito" as base and mobil station. In association of S.A.F.A.R. Type 741/A long wave receiver and S.A.F.A.R. Type RA-310 transmitter formed  one of the must important communications station. Many of this station was mounted  in the "DOVUNQUE" truck, or in special small trail "BIGHE".
