The radio receiver OC7 and OC7/RA is a superheterodyne short wave radio receiver intended general field usage as a base station. Used in Regio Esercito and Regia Aeronautica. The RA suffix intended for Regia Aeronautica. The receiver covering a frequency range from 2,500 to 39,000 kilocycle (kc) is five bands. All receiver models are identical in size, in general external and internal construction and appearance, and in the fundamental arrangement of their electrical circuits. The radio Receiver OC7 and OC7/RA can use the external psu or storage battery.
