The Swiss NEMA “New Enigma Machine” was designed by the Swiss Army during the WWII as a replacement for their German Enigma Machine. During 1944 the first prototype had become available but the first machine entered in service in 1947. Only 640 NEMA ‘s were build and the serial number started from 100 . NEMA was declassified on jun.09 1992 and the first pieces arrived on the public market in the 1994. The NEMA machine weight 10.7 Kg and measures 332 x 384 x 148 mm. Use 26 lamps 3.5 Volt 0.2 Amp The original battery (L.S.A. Nr.1004) 4.5 Volt 6.5Amp/h measures 100 x 67 x 76 mm. AC power supply 110 - 125 - 145 - 220 - 250.
